Lunedì 9 maggio è stato presentato all’Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc di Cap d’Antibes, il cortometraggio diretto da Karl Lagerfeld per presentare la collezione Chanel Croisière 2011/2012.

Il cortometraggio racconta un mondo fatto di lusso sfrenato, di classe, di eleganza, di sensualità nel quale si alternano location da sogno, abiti ultra-chic firmati ovviamente Chanel, modelli splendidi e intrecci amorosi. La pellicola vede l’utilizzo del colore e del bianco e nero; la disposizione dei personaggi all’interno dello spazio filmico trasforma la maggior parte delle inquadrature in un set fotografico che mostra gli abiti della collezione. Quest’ultima ruota attorno al binomio bianco-nero: costumi da bagno rigorosamente interi, abiti da sera e da cocktail e completi da giorno tutti contraddistinti dallo stile pulito e, allo stesso tempo, sensuale della maison francese.

I personaggi del film sono interpretati da protagonisti e modelli della casa di moda francese: Kristen McMenamy, top-model degli anni ‘90 dalla bellezza androgina, interpreta il ruolo di Frenny, una donna ricchissima e avida, soggetta a forti sbalzi d’umore che sfiorano l’isteria; la donna ha una relazione con un “toy-boy” interpretato da Baptiste Giabiconi. Il personaggio centrale è Louisa, interpretata da Anna Mouglalis, attrice francese, ambasciatrice e testimonial di Chanel nel mondo. Louisa è una donna insoddisfatta dalla sua relazione con il marito ed è alla ricerca della sua sessualità; in suo aiuto arriverà una fata, Vivian (Freja Beha), che ha il potere di cambiare il flusso degli eventi. Nel corso della pellicola vi è anche un bacio saffico altamente erotico tra la Mouglalis e Freja Beha. Altri protagonisti della pellicola sono Amanda Harlech, Bianca Balti, Brad Kroenig, Jake Davies, Mark Vanderloo, Seth Kuhlmann.

A detta di Lagerfeld, The Tale of a Fairy ”E’ un film sull’uso malvagio del denaro, che comincia con la violenza e finisce con i sentimenti”.

Tiffany Blue is a specific shade of light blue which is very similiar to turquoise. It is the trademarked colour of the famous jewelry store Tiffany and Co. The colour takes its origins from the little blue box in which Tiffany’s jewels are put. Tiffany Blue is a colour everyone should have in the wardrobe and in the cosmetic bag: Chanel realized a nail varnish called Nouvelle Vague and its colour tone is Tiffany Blue—> I love it! :)

Tiffany Blue is a must for anyone who wants to be chic and fashionable; in addition I like it very much because it expresses moods like peacefulness, thoughtlessness and softness. Today I’ve decided: my colour is Tiffany Blue! What’s your mood-colour of the day?

Well, since I have recently graduated, now I’m searching for a job but everyday I realize more and more how difficult is to find one. The consequences of the crisis of the labor market are less workplaces and underpaid contracts, especially for recent graduates. Surfing on the Web, I’ve found a list of errors that women have to avoid in order to make a positive impression during a job interview. This list is written by Carol Kinsey, American guru, analyst and coach of women looking for corporate ladding. Go read, it is fun too! :)

1. NO! —> Incline your head while listening: you risk to appear too condescending.

2. NO! —> Laugh often: too much smiling confuses the interlocutors and undermine the credibility of a manager.

3. NO! —> Finishing the sentences with question marks: it seems that we are not sure of what we are saying.

4. NO! —> Acting like a teenager: all people gesticulate during a conversation but women fiddle a lot with hair and jewels.

5. NO! —> Be contracted: crossed legs and folded arms impede communication.

6. NO! —> Wait for your turn to talk: the previous U.S. Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright recommend women to learn how to interrupt the communication.

7. NO! —> Weak handshake: shaking hands without force give impression of weakness.

8. NO! —> Showing your emotions: a particular tone of voice or too emotional expressions can reveal excessively joy or anger.

9. NO! —> Using flirt as a point of strenght: women, even if unconsciously, try to advantage themselves using seductive positions.
